Product Description : Fire Resistant Ceiling Panel with Added STC/IIC Performance

SOUND CURB panels are engineered to reduce sound transmission in ceiling applications. The panel is ideal for multilevel residential or commercial projects where fire resistance is required, and additional mass is desired for improved Sound Transmission Class (STC) and Impact Insulation Class (IIC) performance. The product is especially effective for lower frequencies where sound control has proven difficult. The proprietary, high-density, gypsum core is wrapped with 100% recycled face and backing paper. Additional mineral additives have been integrated into the product’s core to increase its performance during exposure to fire. See it in use at Santa Clara Square.
