Product Description : sound control with shear and impact resistance

QuietRock 530 is a versatile, high performance sound damping gypsum panel that delivers superb noise reduction with shear and impact resistance. This super panel is UL Certified for use on several fire-resistance rated assemblies and installs and finishes like other paper faced gypsum board but will require a saw to cut. In certain installations the steel core may disrupt cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity. QuietRock 530 is also available with radio frequency shielding, see QuietRock 530RF.
